Portraits

Our portrait photography tries to capture the personality and character of the individual, or individuals. Our approach is that the portraits are captured in comfortable and familiar surroundings, where the subject will be as comfortable and relaxed as possible. This is especially useful for people who dislike having their photograph taken. It also avoids the sometimes difficult visits to a photographic studio, especially with small children! The choice of venue is entirely your decision: it could be at home, in the garden, at your office, the local park - whatever environment will put you most at ease.

How much does it cost

A single sitting is priced at £150, which includes the session and 2 8X10 pictures. A long term commission starts at £500, which includes 4 sessions over 12 months at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, included in the price is 10 5x7 pictures per session. Follow the Price List menu item above for more detail.

How does it work?

There are two types of commission available. The first is a single sitting, where a range of photographs are taken, over a short period of time. The photographs are then used to produce an album, framed pictures and/or a web site.

The second is a long term commission, where photographs are taken over a period of time. For example, this could be at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months to capture the first year of a new born baby. This type of commission allows consistent capturing of the development of your new born over a specified period of time and is invaluable to pass on to family and friends, especially if great distances are involved. The exact frequency of the sessions depends on your requirements.
